The Quebec Highway Code requires that children must ride in a car seat designed for the purpose. This type of seat is for children weighing from 9 to 18 kilograms (20 to 40 lbs.) and 66 to 102 centimetres in height (26 to 40 inches).
Children under 12 years of age are not permitted to be in the common areas of LaCité unless they are accompanied by an adult.
At LaCité Health Club only the Swimming Pool area is permitted to persons under 18 years of age.
