Celebrations for every season

Each summer, one by one our cities and towns come to life with a wide variety of festivities. Many streets become the backdrop for huge festivals, welcoming tens of thousands of people in a joyous and safe ambiance. Festival-goers even look heavenward, with three hot air balloon festivals and our spectacular fireworks competitions!

After the countless summer events, autumn ushers in flamboyant foliage festivals as well as major cultural celebrations. In the winter, the spotlight is on snow (with the legendary Québec Winter Carnival leading the festivities). And in the spring, we celebrate the sugaring off!

High level sports competitions

For sports fans, a number of major events are held in Québec each year! You can attend international-calibre competitions in all kinds of disciplines: tennis, horseback riding, acrobatic skiing, Formula 1, cycling, snowmobiling... even ice climbing, to name just a few!
